Love in the Classroom

Ali Davis loves what she does, student teaching for a third grade class at the local elementary school. The kids may be nosy and wild, and they may drive her up a wall from time to time, but she adores it - even if she has no intention of teaching to grade school kids once she graduates. The kids keep her on her toes, especially when they mention their other student teacher that they just can't get enough of. The class thinks they're friends, but the truth is... they've never met before.

Milo Hart is their second student teacher. With such a large teaching program across the two universities in town, and such a small amount of schools in the surrounding area, it isn't uncommon for classes to double up on their teaching assistants. Milo is forced to hear about "Miss Ali" a hundred times a day, and while he would never complain, he would like to know what all the hype is about.

Despite sharing the same classroom, the two have never crossed paths, but that's gonna change if their nosy students have anything to say about it.

Hazel Marshall has spent her whole life chasing perfect. With graduation fast approaching and having absolutely no clue whether she actually wants to go into her major field, it's safe to say she's a little stressed out. The last thing she needs is a distraction. Especially not a neighbor who has the most obnoxious nickname for her and who just so happens to be showing up everywhere she looks now. She has a plan. Sort of. And he doesn't fit into that plan. Romantically or otherwise. Well... no one said she couldn't make a new friend.

When Theo Sim's dad walked out on him and his mother all those years ago, Theo promised to do only one thing. Make his mother proud. So far he has been successful. That's it. And then he meets Hazel, and she has completely turned his life upside down.

What should have been a one night stand definitely does not stay as such, now Emmie and Connor are sneaking around behind her brother's back - behind the team's back - and are both convinced that nothing can go wrong. Now they're left wondering if starting this was the right thing to do, or if they should have fought harder to stick to the rules.

Can’t Lift the Weight

A “Carry Me Out” Novel

They were high school sweethearts. She was his muse. He was hers. Until suddenly, that wasn’t the case anymore.

Luna Reid is one of the top songwriters in the music industry right now. She’s written for some of the biggest names in music the last few years, and now she’s going to work with Carry Me Out,  a band that hits a little close to home for her. Sometimes she wishes she hadn’t taken the job.

Grayson Farrow and his twin brother Colin started Carry Me Out when they were in high school. Gray has always been the band’s songwriter, but he hasn’t written a song in months and their label has taken matters into their own hands, hiring a new songwriter to work on the album with him. To say he’s unhappy would be an understatement, but that changes when Luna walks through the door.

Now, seven years after their less than amicable breakup and a string of groupies later, Luna and Gray are forced back together to work on Carry Me Out’s upcoming album. Tensions run high as the two learn to navigate this professional relationship while suppressing those unresolved feelings from years ago. Luna has no intention of letting him back into her life, but Gray has no intention of letting her go again.

A Little Twist of Fate (Coming October 22nd, 2024)

Colin Farrow just wants to be his own person, and he thought he’d finally found his way of being different than his twin. For years, he has been known as the “playboy of Carry Me Out,” and he’s proud of that title, but their label is not in the mood for anymore bad press, and Colin has been told to not be seen out with a new girl every other day. In order to keep his career safe, Colin has to stay clear of the paparazzi, but that may be harder than he thinks.

Maci Bowman is just trying to get through her last year of art school and get over her ex-boyfriend. The latter was much easier before she ran into Colin - or when Colin ran into her after one of his shows. Faced with unrelenting paparazzi, she’s forced to help Colin stay clear of them, but with his new career ultimatum, Colin has other plans. He thinks they should pretend to be a couple for the public, and despite the not-so-flattering opinions she has on him and his brother, she agrees.

Now they’re trying to get caught by paparazzi because at least this way Colin isn’t being seen with a new girl “every other day” and Maci can get over her ex. It’s only a couple of months, what could even happen in that time? Certainly feelings won’t bubble to the surface. Right?
